The Discourse (45' x 25')
Steeply pitched, ventilated roofs supported by space-saving iron pillars; rounded corners to save the axles of understeered carriages; porcelain tiled corridors, polished brick and cobble floors and gently sloping entrances reveal The Colloquy’s origins as the Victorian stable block and carriage house of the Whittern Estate. And if your presentation runs over time, the stable clock’s bell will remind you.

Clock View (25' x 25') with view through to Parley
The Colloquy attracts a variety of businesses looking for comfort, quality, style and a real sense of individuality. We also have the full range of technical kit for presentations and meetings. The great benefit of coming to The Colloquy is that you are totally free to structure your stay as you wish; and the exclusivity of being here alone means that there are no rules of engagement. If you want dinner at 6pm or 10pm, or Brunch rather than lunch, or beers for breakfast – it’s your choice.

The Club Room: the old tackroom (25' x 20'). A perfect place to relax in peace, with open log fire
To relax at the end of a long day we think we offer some extras that will appeal to groups and companies alike. Apart from the swimming pool; housed in the old potting shed we also have a sauna, a hot tub, changing rooms and showers. And the old squash court – well, it’s a fully equipped new squash court.
